A £400,000 supported living scheme on the Ormeau Road in Belfast has officially opened.
The new scheme, for adults with learning difficulties, was delivered through the refurbishment of a three-storey, Victorian building named 'The Hearth'. It will support three people to live with a high degree of independence in the community and was part funded by the Northern Ireland Executive through the Department for Social Development.
The new accommodation has been provided by Oaklee Trinity Housing in conjunction with joint management partner L'Arche Belfast. Each resident has their own bedroom with communal space to meet and be involved in a range of social activities.
