The second phase of the environmental improvement project is now underway in south Belfast.
Trees have been planted at Collingwood Avenue as part of Belfast City Council's wider environmental improvement project for the Holyland area.
The environmental improvement project is being delivered by the council in partnership with South Belfast DPCSP, with support from the Department for Regional Development and other partner agencies such as the Holyland Interagency Group and the Probation Board NI.
A previous phase of the project saw students from the University of Ulster and children from Botanic Primary School working with the PCSP and the Probation Board NI to clean up a dilapidated wall by painting a mural including a quote from the late Seamus Heaney.
