New Eco Homes For Ballymun

A total of 19 Eco friendly homes are currently being developed in Ballymun, Dublin.

Clúid Housing Association took over the development from Emerald Housing in 2011 after the company went into liquidation.

The homes are to be become available in April of this year.

Ballymun Sinn Féin Councillor, Noeleen Reill, welcomed the news.

She said: "This is very positive for some people on the waiting lists in Ballymun. It has been quite a while since so many units became available at once in the area. These homes will come on stream in the next couple of months and the council are currently setting up interviews with perspective tenants."
