Electric Ireland has signed a deal, worth over €1m, with Smyths Toys Superstores.

The 12-month contract, to supply electricity to 28 of the firms outlets, also includes Electric Ireland providing energy efficiency audit support to stores based in the ROI and Northern Ireland.

Electric Ireland's Customer Relationship Manager, Vincent Litchfield, said: "We are pleased to have been chosen by Smyths Toys Superstores to partner with them on an all-Ireland basis. The retail sector is an important area for Electric Ireland and with 2015 expected to be another busy year for this sector, we are happy to be part of powering this growth.
