A new community hall in Clonmore, County Armagh, funded by the Rural Development Programme (RDP) has officially opened.
Clonmore Regeneration Group developed the new community facility with the support of £225,728 capital investment from South West Action for Rural Development (SWARD) under Axis 3 of the RDP.
Speaking after a tour of the new facilities, Agriculture Minister Michelle O'Neill, said: "Rural Development is primarily about supporting projects which sustain and enhance a rural way of life. Buildings like this are vital in supporting and sustaining small rural communities such as Clonmore."
"This programme is on course to invest £86 million in a broad range of projects supporting the private sector, including farm diversification, and community led projects which will strengthen the social and economic infrastructure of our rural areas."
