Northern Ireland's Transport Minister has announced public exhibitions on the planned A5 Western Transport Corridor will take place within the consultation period on the draft orders.

Sinn Fein West Tyrone MLA, Declan Mc Aleer, welcomed the news from Minster Danny Kennedy and confirmed that subject to venues being available, it is planned the exhibitions will be held over four days.

Mr Mc Aleer said: "At these exhibitions, my officials will be available to discuss the proposals in detail with affected landowners and the general public, assisted by information boards, a computer generated visualisation of the route and scheme brochures."
