QMAC Construction Completes Kitchen Replacement Scheme

QMAC Construction has completed improvements on Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) homes in north Belfast by installing new kitchens for tenants in the Brucevale, Vicinage and Downview areas.

The kitchen replacement scheme began in September 2014. It saw a total of 105 homes have their kitchens replaced, costing more than £315,000.

The work has been well received by tenants.

Margaret Ryan from Vicinage Place said: "I am delighted with my new kitchen, it makes such an improvement to my home. It was great to be able to choose my own kitchen units, worktop and floor tiles. The contractor was very clean and tidy.

"I would like to say a big thank you to my Housing Officer, Paul Killeen and the workmen from QMAC Construction – they were really good with me and were friendly and professional the whole time."
