Sinn Féin claims Irish Water needs to be "shut down" following the arrest of 13 anti-water protestors in Crumlin.
Aengus Ó Snodaigh TD condemned the arrests and confirmed that Sinn Féin will continue to support residents protesting against the installation of water meters.
He said: "The blame for these arrests lie at the feet of this government who continue to impose meters on households. This government must review its policy on water charges. The charges need to be scrapped and Irish Water shut down."
