Fianna Fáil is once again calling for an independent investigation to be carried out about the sale of Siteserv by IBRC.
The party rejected proposed plans by Finance Minister Michael Noonan and said he "needs to go back to the drawing board".
Party Leader Micheál Martin said: "What is needed here is an independent investigation by someone at full arm's length from the process and completely detached from IBRC, Siteserv and the Department of Finance.
"The model we are proposing is a Commission of Investigation. We now know from FOI responses that the Finance Minister has avoided doing the right thing for more than two years."
