New Fire Station To Be Developed In Kilkenny

A new two-bay fire station is to be developed in Graiguenamanagh, Co Kilkenny.

Ann Phelan, T.D., Minister of State for Rural Affairs in the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government, in conjunction with Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, Alan Kelly, TD announced the approval.

The Department will fund €1.1 million towards the new station and drill tower.

A site owned by Kilkenny County Council on the relief road is available for the proposed new station.
