Improvement Work On Apartments In Donaghadee Complete

A Northern Ireland based housing association has completed improvements to apartments in Donagaghdee, Co Down.

Clanmil Housing Group have finished the improvements at The Imperial, which provides 24 self-contained apartments for older people.

A total of £168,143 has been invested to refresh the independent living scheme which provided modern new kitchens in all of the apartments, communal area redecoration, and a makeover for the tenant's common room.

The work at The Imperial is part of a major five-year maintenance programme which will see over £8m invested in Clanmil's properties throughout Northern Ireland.

Work at The Imperial also included power washing and painting to the exterior of the building, as well as redecoration and lighting upgrades in communal areas to match the new furniture and décor.
