Road Improvement Project To Begin In Draperstown

A £120,000 road improvement project is to start in Draperstown.

The 1km resurfacing work on the B40 Magherafely Road is programmed to commence on Monday 27 July 2015 and is expected to last for five weeks.

To help minimise any inconvenience to the travelling public and local businesses two-way traffic flow will be maintained during this period except for a two day closure on 24 and 25 August 2015 to facilitate the final surfacing.

During this period traffic will be diverted via the B41Tobermore Road and the A29 Desertmartin Road. Advisory signage will also be provided to inform motorists that access to local businesses and services is maintained.
