Contractors Begin Work On Resurfacing Project In Co Tyrone

Contractors have started work on a £96,000 road resurfacing project in Cookstown, Co Tyrone.

The work, on the Killymoon Road, extends a distance of approximately 670 etresm from the A29 Church Street to the entrance to Killymoon Golf Club. It also includes the resurfacing of approximately 0.6km of footway.

The scheme which is expected to take a total of five weeks to complete.

A road closure, which is due to take place on 7 - 8 September, will be required to facilitate the final surfacing of the carriageway.

Diversions will be put in place.
