Restoration work on Bryce House in Cork is now complete.
Mrs Annan Bryce's cottage, which has been restored to its original character by a project funded by Fáilte Ireland and the Office of Public Works (OPW), has been officially opened to the public by the Minister of State for Tourism and Sport, Michael Ring TD.
The refurb work commenced in January.
Visitors can see the cottage in Garnish Island along with the gardens and views overlooking Glengarriff Bay.
Minister Ring said: "I am delighted to be here to share in the experience that is Garinish Island, I want to commend all the project team for the remarkable job.
"I am sure that this new addition will act as a further magnet to attract more visitors to this unique and wonderful location and so assist the tourist industry in the area sustain and grow much needed jobs.
"We are on course for a record year for visitor numbers to Ireland and developing unique places such as Garinish Island are vital to our tourism industry as visitors continually look for new experiences."
