Farrans To Develop Community Centre In Cambridge

Northern Ireland construction firm Farrans has been selected as contractor to develop a community centre on the North West Cambridge Development.

The Storey's Field Centre is designed as the hub of the community providing a venue for social, recreational and sporting activities. Designed around a central external space, the centre's key spaces include a multi-use hall with a sprung dance floor, for up to 180 people. There are also two further spaces sized for 50 and 20 people, as well as a nursery, offices and ancillary rooms.

Farrans' Managing Director, John Wilson, said: "We have been based in Cambridgeshire for over 67 years, and our selection as the Contractor for this exciting project is a key milestone in our history."
