Fianna Fáil has raised concerns over the planning of modular homes in Dublin.
Leader Cllr Paul McAuliffe said the principles of good planning "must be applied" in each development.
He said: "Having represented Ballymun for almost a decade, I have seen how planning mistakes made in a housing crisis can have serious long term societal issues. I do not want to see Dublin City Council make the same mistakes with modular housing.
"Regardless of the construction method, the principles of good planning must still apply. While the sites selected were based on their status as being 'fully serviced' they are all within communities that have a high level of existing social housing. All sites developed must have a good social mix and I will be working to ensure this is delivered in all Part 8 applications which come before us as councillors."
