Priority Construction Acquires Two New Komatsu PW148-10 Wheeled Excavators

Ireland's civil engineering contractors Priority Construction has taken delivery of two new Komatsu PW148-10 wheeled excavators.

Supplied by Komatsu distributor McHale Plant Sales of Birdhill and Rathcoole, the new machines have been put to work on roadwork projects being carried out by Priority in Charleville and Enniscorthy.

Powered by an EU Stage IIIB Komatsu SAA4D107E-2 engine, the high-spec PW148-10 has been designed with a significantly reduced tail swing of 1.8 metres to meet the demands of confined work sites such as urbanised areas, road or sewer construction, where space is limited.

Available with a choice of boom styles, arm and undercarriage attachments, the PW148-10 can be configured to match specific demands and can be equipped with a parallel-moving dozer blade, engineered to stabilise the machine without damaging the road surface.
