IEA Ministerial Meeting To Go-Ahead In Paris

The Minister for Energy, Alex White, has confirmed he will attend a ministerial meeting of the International Energy Agency (IEA) in Paris despite the recent attacks.

The Minister consulted with the French Government and the OECD and the IEA are to go-ahead with the meeting as scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday, 17 and 18 November.

Minister White said: "The decision to go ahead with this important meeting of energy ministers from around the world offers an opportunity to demonstrate our solidarity with France."
