Farrans Construction and NI Water have started work on a £10.9 million improvement programme in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim.
The work, which is expected to be completed in nine months, will take place on Ballyfore Road, Knockview Road and the Woodford Road.
New watermains will be installed to improve the quality, reliability and security of the local water supply, while reducing leakage and improving pressure in the area.
Traffic management and signage will be in place where relevant, and local access for residents will be maintained.
