Storm Sewer To Be Installed In Co Antrim

A storm sewer is to be installed on at a new development in Crumlin, Co Antrim.

The new sewer will be located on the Mill Road/Nutt's Corner Road.

NI Water is currently carrying out work which involves the laying of approximately 136 mwtres of pipe and associated manholes for the new connection to the sewer network.

In order to allow the works to be carried out in a safe manner, it will be necessary to have a temporary road closure in place on the Nutts Corner Road from Tuesday 15 March for approximately two weeks. The area affected by the closure shall be from the Crumlin Rd Junction to the entrance to Sheiling Grange. Access for local residents and businesses shall be maintained as far as possible. The diversion route shall be along the Manse Road, following onto the Crumlin Road.

Contractor Campbell Contracts has teamed up with NI Water to carry out the work.
