Work To Start On Road Improvement Project In Lisburn

A road improvement scheme has been announced by TransportNI for Lurganure Road in Lisburn.

The £215,000 project is due to begin on Wednesday, 20 April.

The resurfacing and reconstruction scheme will take around eight weeks and is expected to be completed before the end of June.

The project will improve the strength and surface quality of the road and help resolve ongoing maintenance issues.

To help ensure the safety of road users and contractors, a road closure will be necessary between 8am - 6pm from Monday to Friday.

Diversions will be in place.
