Call For Irish Water To Publish Payment Figures

Irish Water is being urged to publish its figures for the first quarter of this year "without any further delay".

Sinn Féin TD Eoin Ó Broin said he sees no reason for a delay after the firm published figures for the last quarter of 2015 by 14 January.

He said: "I sincerely hope that the delay has nothing to do with the ongoing negotiations for the formation of a government.

"Sinn Féin will seek to have a motion brought before the Dáil to abolish water charges."
