Fianna Fail and Fine Gael have been slammed for failing to address climate change in their agreement.
The Green Party said "it is unbelievable that the document setting out the agreement between Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil makes absolutely no reference to climate change".
Party Leader Eamon Ryan said Ireland faces huge challeneges over the coming decades to reach climate change targets.
He said: "The recently released Sustainable Energy Authority Ireland (SEAI) report makes it clear what Ireland needs to do to meet our obligations. We need to triple the number of homes retrofitted for energy efficiency, we need to ramp up the expansion of renewable energy, and we need dramatically increase the number of electric vehicles and biofuels in transport on our roads. Urgent action is required, but there is no sense of urgency among the larger parties."
