FP McCann has completed the first stage of a £1.9 million public realm improvement project in Magherafelt.
The contractor has installed new paving on Broad Street as part of the scheme for the Mid Ulster District Council and the Department for Social Development (DSD).
The paving forms part of the project to enhance the town, with other features including new lighting, street furniture, signage and planting.
In addition, Quinn Automatic is underway with sewer replacement work on Market Street.
Further improvement works are due to be carried out in The Diamond and connecting streets including Market Street, Rainey Street, Broad Street and Queen Street.
