Construction work has started on a £30 million development in Co Antrim.
Housebuilders Hagan Homes will deliver the 250 new homes at a site on the Ballygore Road.
The main contractor for the project is Claudy-based JCL Contracts and the work is expected to be completed in five years.
Jamesy Hagan, Managing Director at Hagan Homes, said: "We are delighted to announce our plans for the new Ballyveigh site in Antrim. This will be the largest housing development started in Antrim in more than ten years and is a clear indication of Hagan Homes' confidence in the local market. It is also a further sign of rejuvenation in the construction sector.
"Demand for superior homes offering value in Northern Ireland is high and the Ballyveigh development offers homebuyers the opportunity to live in a mature residential area nestled off the Ballygore Road in Antrim.
"The homes are designed to appeal to all demographics, whether first-time buyers, families, young professionals and downsizers, and will include one, two and three bedroom apartments, townhouses, semi-detached and detached homes."
