Sinn Féin has criticised the terms of reference for the Government's expert group on the funding of water services.
Sinn Féin TD Eoin Ó Broin said they are "too narrow" and is calling for them to be amended to include consideration of issues such as water poverty, social justice and the use of new technologies to improve water conservation.
He said: "Sinn Féin is also of the view that the Right2Water movement should be represented on the Commission.
"I will be writing to Minister Simon Coveney in the coming days suggesting amendments to the terms of reference and supporting the request by the Right2Water movement to a place on the Commission."
