Work is to start on a £160,000 road resurfacing scheme in Co L'Derry.
The work on the Buncrana Road extends from the Pennyburn Roundabout to the Racecourse Road.
Improvements will also be undertaken to some of the adjacent footways. The scheme will start on Monday 27 June and is expected to be completed by 19 August.
To facilitate the work a one-way lane closure from 9.30am to 6pm will be in operation for traffic travelling into the city. A diversion route via Skeoge Road, Madam’s Bank Road and Culmore Road will be signposted. A secondary diversion via the Racecourse Road and Greenhaw Road will also be available.
A full road closure will be required to enable the final surface layer to be laid on Saturday and Sunday 06 and 07 August and Saturday and Sunday 13 & 14 August. The road will be closed from 8am to 10pm. Diversions will be put in place.
