Call For Threats To Water Workers To Be Lifted Immediately

Water workers have been threatened in west Belfast.

A bullet was discovered at a site in where the workers were carrying out maintenance to the water system.

Sinn Fein MP Paul Maskey is calling for the threats to be lifted immediately.

Mr Maskey said: "I wish to condemn this threat against water workers in West Belfast which involved a bullet being placed at the site.

"Such threats are unacceptable and need to be lifted immediately.

"All workers should be able to go about their work free from fear and intimidation."
