Preparation Work Begins On Resurfacing Scheme In Co Tyrone

Preparation work has begun on a £100,000 resurfacing scheme in Stewartstown, Co Tyrone.

Work on the Hillhead Road extends a distance of around 300 metres from West Street to Chambre Park. The work also includes the resurfacing of approximately 100 metres of footway.

Road closures are scheduled for four days from 09 August to 12 August, with a further two-day closure on the weekend of 27 and 28 August to facilitate final surfacing of the carriageway.

During the road closures, through traffic will be diverted via Mountjoy, Newmills and Cookstown. Advanced warning signage for the closures will be provided.
