A £358,000 resurfacing scheme is to begin next week on the A46 Lough Shore Road from Enniskillen to Belleek in Fermanagh.
The project involves resurfacing a 1.28km section of the route at Carrickreagh costing around £145,000, along with a 1.8km road section at Cosbytown costing approximately £213,000.
The works are expected to be completed in four weeks by Friday, 25 November, subject to weather conditions.
Announcing the works today, 03 November, Infrastructure Minister Chris Hazzard said: "Improving transport connections along key routes while maintaining a network, which is fit for purpose, is a priority for my Department and the wider Executive.
"This local investment will improve the strength and surface quality of this important Enniskillen to Belleek road. The improvement will deliver benefits for the local community and visitors to the Fermanagh area for many years to come."
