Resurfacing Scheme Announced For Belfast

A new £160,000 carriageway resurfacing scheme is to take place at Kingsway, Belfast.

The work will commence on Monday, 14 November and is expected to be completed by the end of the month.

The project will take place from the Black's Road junction to the M1 bridge, and will be undertaken overnight from 9pm to 6am the following mornings, from 14 - 18 November, and then again on 21 - 22 November.

Infrastructure Minister Chris Hazzard said: "This investment of £160,000 will greatly improve the strength and surface quality on this busy stretch of road.

" Improving transport connections along roads while maintaining a network which is fit for purpose is a priority for the Executive. This scheme plays a part in achieving this priority."
