Decision To Extend Park And Ride Facility Welcomed

A decision to extend a Park and Ride facility in Castledawson, L'Derry, has been welcomed by Sinn Féin.

A total of £350,000 is to be invested in the project, which will allow more people to use the park and ride scheme, particularly for those who travel to work or study in L'Derry or Belfast.

Sinn Féin MLA Ian Milne said: "Extending this facility will allow more people to use the park and ride scheme, particularly those who travel to work or study in Derry or Belfast.

"This investment, combined with the upcoming works as part of the A6 upgrade project will cut down journey times for everyone.

"This is yet another sign for the Executive delivering for Mid Ulster."
