CLÁR Programme Reopens

The CLÁR Programme which provides funding for small scale infrastructural projects in disadvantaged and rural areas in Ireland has reopened.

Deputy Thomas Byrne welcomed the announcement and said the re-introduction of the programme was a key demand of the Fianna Fáil party.

He said: "Although the projects in Meath East are modest, I am encouraging local communities in the affected areas to consult with their political representatives to see what other projects could be advanced under the scheme."
