Work To Start On £90,000 Resurfacing Scheme In Co Down

Work is to start on a £90,000 road resurfacing project in Killough, Co Down.

The work on the A2 Minerstown Road will begin on Monday, 13 February, and it involves the resurfacing of a one kilometre stretch of the A2 Minerstown Road between the Ballylucas Road and Bright Road junctions.

A temporary road closure will be in place from 8am to 6pm from 13 February 2017 to Saturday 01 April.

During the road closures a diversion route will be signed with traffic being diverted via A2 Clanmaghery Road/Tyrella Road/Blackstaff Road, A24 Main Street, A25 Downpatrick Road/Ballydugan Road/Market Street, St Patrick’s Avenue, B176 Killough Road/Downpatrick Road and A2 Main Street/Chapel Street/Rossglass Road.
