Construction Work Complete On New School Extension In Dublin

Construction work on a new school extension in Dublin has been completed.

Minister for Education & Skills, Richard Bruton TD officially opened the extension at Mount Carmel Secondary School on Tuesday, 02 May.

The Department of Education and Skills provided over €950,000 which includes five classrooms and a music room.

Minister Bruton said: "I was delighted to visit Mount Carmel Secondary School on Kings Inn Street today to open their new extension. Through the Action Plan for Education, which aims to make the Irish education and training service the best in Europe, we are investing hundreds of millions to provide thousands of new school places. Students in the north inner city will now greatly benefit from these new state of the art facilities."
