Work Complete On New Swimming Pool In Cork

Work to develop a new swimming pool in Cork has been completed.

Former Labour Party TD for Cork South-West, Michael McCarthy, has welcomed the official opening of the Dunmanway Swimming Pool.

He said: "The proposals for the new pool were developed some time ago and it is good to see these plans finally being brought to fruition.

"The new pool is an exciting development for Dunmanway, which has a been a long time coming. There is no doubt that this development will provide a huge boost for our local community as well as a huge attraction to the town."
