Marks & Spencer To Open In Craigavon

Marks & Spencer has announced they have acquired the former B&Q store in Craigavon.

Upper Bann UUP MLA Jonathan Buckley welcomed the announcement.

He said: "On the 50th anniversary of Marks & Spencer opening in Northern Ireland this is very welcome news for the Craigavon area. It is a further boost to the retail mix within Craigavon and to the local economy."

MP David Simpson added: "The creation of 80 new jobs is a very welcome announcement. I am delighted that the company have decided to invest in Craigavon and particularly that they are taking on the former B&Q store which closed back in 2016 with the loss of 50 jobs."
