Start Of Construction Work On £2m Transport Hub Welcomed

Sinn Fein has welcomed the start of construction work on the £2million Transport Hub in west Belfast.

The work on the Colin Town Centre Transport Hub and Civic Square started on Tuesday, 12 September.

MLA Órlaithí Flynn said it will provide a significant economic boost to the Colin area.

She said: "It will help improve accessibility and connectivity with other parts of Belfast including hospitals, shops, schools and colleges.

"This is the first phase of investment in Colin through the Urban Villages Initiative, which marks the beginning of significant capital investments which will open the area up for further investment and enterprise in the Colin area."
