Work To Start On £170,000 Improvement Scheme In Co Down

Work is to start on a £170,000 road improvement project in Hillsborough, Co Down.

The work on the Dromara Road will begin on Monday, 25 September.

The scheme will improve the strength and surface quality of a 1,300 metre section of carriageway between Drumlough Road and Edenticullo Road.

It is expected to be substantially completed by the end of October 2017.

Resurfacing of the stretch of carriageway from Drumlough Road to the Hillsborough side of Edenticullo Road will be carried out over four consecutive weeks between 8am and 6pm.

Diversions will be put in place during the works.
