Work To Start On Road Improvement Project In Co Antrim

Construction work is to start on a £130,000 road improvement project in Glenavy, Co Antrim.

The work on the Glen Road is to commence on Monday, 12 February.

The scheme will resurface a one kilometre section of the road, stretching from the Crumlin Road to the Edenturcher Road junction, while improvements will also be made to road drainage.

The Glen Road will be closed Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm from 12 February until 09 March.

Diversions will be put in place however motorists are being urged to expect delays.
