The Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) has invested £186,000 to carry out improvement works to eight aluminium bungalows in Draperstown, Co L'Derry.
The properties have been fitted with external cladding to improve the thermal properties of the bungalows and new roofing materials were also fitted.
New internal and external doors were also fitted to complete the works, while an external maintenance scheme was carried out to provide new driveways and paths around the properties.
NIHE's Area Manager Michael Dallat, said: "We were aware these homes needed major investment works, and it has been very pleasing to not just improve the thermal efficiency of these bungalows, but to greatly improve the kerb appeal of the homes.
"This major investment ensures the Mallon Villas are fit for purpose for many more years to come.
"The Housing Executive is actively working to ensure that any remaining bungalows in its ownership with aluminium cladding receive similar thermal efficiency measures during the next financial year."
