BSG Civil Engineering is to start work on a £1 million sewer upgrade in Belfast.
The existing sewer on McClintock Street will be replaced and a new first-time service storm sewer will be provided to serve the new Maldron and Belfast Grand Central Hotel, as well as the Queen's University accommodation development.
The works will commence in early March under a road closure at the Franklin Street end of McClintock Street for approximately three months. A diversion route will be signposted and access will be maintained for businesses in the area, as well as the underground car park.
The remaining works will be completed under a lane closure with traffic control at the lower end McClintock Street and Franklin Street. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and the overall project is expected to be completed by February 2019.
