Boil Water Notices that had been issued in Waterford have been lifted.

A total of eight public water supplies were affected by the notice which was put in place as a precautionary measure after Storm Emma.

The areas the notices have been lifted are:

• Ballyknock

• Ballyguiry

• Carrigeen

• Comeragh (Briska Lower)

• Grallagh

• Tinalyra/Kilcooney

• Knockalisheen

• Melleray

Customers supplied by the schemes can now resume normal use of the water for drinking and food preparation.
