Resurfacing Work Announced In Ballygown

A £230,000 resurfacing scheme has been announced to repair C272 Carrickmannon Road and C367 Church Hill, Ballygowan, starting 08 May.

The Co Down road improvement scheme has been issued to improve the strength and surface quality of the carriageway on a 0.85km section.

The construction work is expected to be completed by the end of May.

Phase 1 of the scheme will include only Carrickmannon Road from its junction with Moss Road towards Bog Road junction.

Phase 2 of the scheme will focus on Church Hill from the Comber Road Roundabout to its junction with Moss Road.

Road diversions, temporary traffic signals and road closures will be in operation during the course of the scheme.
