Irish Water is to issue brand new water meters to its business customers in Tipperary to ensure more accurate and reliable billing.
The new meters will have in-built drive-by technology that allows for faster and more frequent readings. They will also help identify potential leaks.
Water supply to businesses will be temporarily shut-off for approximately 15 minutes while the water meter is being replaced.
The new Tipperary meters are part of Irish Water's Regional Meter Replacement Programme that has already seen new installations in Sligo, Roscommon, Donegal, Limerick and Galway.
