Construction work to improve Barnetts Road in Belfast is to begin next week, 21 May.
Approximately 80 metres of Barnetts Road between Kings Road and Thornhill Parade is to be widened as part of the scheme.
Other works include the development of a new footway and stabilisation of the Comber Greenway embankment with a masonry retaining wall.
Barnetts Road will be closed to through traffic between Kings Road and Thornhill Parade for the duration of the project.
The work is expected to take around 12 weeks to complete.
