Northern Ireland company Environmental Street Furniture (ESF) has received a prestigious national award for its newly launched Stellar Solar Bench.
The new product won the Best in Business and Product Innovation at the National Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) awards.
Speaking about ESF's win at the FSB National Awards, Brendan Kearney, FSB NI Region Chair said: "Many congratulations to Alan Lowry and all of his team at Environmental Street Furniture. Their success on the national stage, seeing off competition from the best businesses from every other region of the UK, is testament to the excellence we have here within our local small business community."
ESF also recently received the Excellence in Exporting Award at the local Belfast Telegraph Business Awards.
Speaking about the company's success, ESF Managing Director, Alan Lowry said: "To be recognised at these esteemed awards in itself is an achievement but to walk away as winners in exporting and for the Stellar Solar Bench – the first product designed and manufactured by ESF - is incredible for our company."
Mr Lowry continued: "We have worked tirelessly to establish ESF in what is a competitive industry but gaining this recognition makes it all worthwhile for myself and the team. We look forward to building on our achievements and moving forward with the company."
ESF was also shortlisted as finalists in the recent Aer Lingus TakeOff Foundation awards and the Made in Northern Ireland awards for their success in exporting.
