Plans Approved For New Warehouse And Offices In Mallusk

Planning permission has been granted to The Henderson Group for a new major development in Mallusk.

The Planning Committee of Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council gave the go ahead for the works, which will include a new storage and distribution warehouse, ancillary office and staff welfare accommodation.

The new facilities will be built on Henderson's existing site where its regional distribution centre is located.

Committee Chairman, Councillor Philip Brett commented: "This is great news for Mallusk. The Henderson Group play an integral part in the Mallusk Community and have been based here for many years. These improvements form an important part of the ongoing £20 million redevelopment investment by Henderson Group and will ensure further construction jobs in the Borough which will strengthen our economic position."
