Burst Pipe Causes Problems In Meath And Louth

Areas in Meath and Louth are still suffering from water outages after a problematic pipe burst in Staleen Water Plant in Donore last week.

Ardcath, Clonalvy, Kentstown, Danestown, Boolies, Riverstown, Cushinstown, Davidstown and surrounding areas are all affected.

Water levels in East Meath reservoir also remain low.

The supply has been fully restored in Duleek, Donore, Ratoath and Ashbourne.

The same mains burst last year causing severe water outages for than 100,000 people in Drogheda, South Louth and East Meath.
