A number of public information events are to be held in the coming weeks on the upcoming L'Derry carriageway scheme.
The £220 million project involves building a high standard dual carriageway between Drumahoe and Dungiven, including a bypass of Dungiven, with roundabouts connecting the scheme to the existing road network at either end.
Contractors Sacyr, Wills Bros and Somague are working with the Department for Infrastructure to host the information events.
These events will provide locals, who are directly affected by the scheme, an opportunity to meet with the contractor and get information on the construction works.
The events will start at 12 noon and finish at 8pm at the following venues:
• Wednesday 27 June in Owenbeg GAA Club, 471 Foreglen Road, Dungiven.
• Thursday 28 June in The Belfray Country Inn, 171 Glenshane Road, Derry.
The project will take up to four years to complete.
